Vacation!

Howdy everyone, sorry for the gap in blog updates, but here we go again…

After we left Ken and Gail’s place we went to the Wisconsin Dells – our good friends the Lindquists had rented a cottage there and kindly invited us to invade their family vacation. So we spent a couple of days with them, hiking, canoing, and even sitting around and doing nothing. Wendy just sat and read for about 3 hours IN A ROW one day. It was terrific. Here are some picture highlights:

It was a lovely cabin in a lovely setting. Grandpa Jeff sat on the porch being ornery.

We did a nice canoe trip, it was so great to be in a canoe again.

We did a lot of hiking in a beautiful setting. Some of it with Jan strapped to my chest (thanks for the Baby Bjorn Julie and Marty!) and some of it in pitch darkness (Jeff said it was an object lesson).
