A trip to the Shedd Aquarium
Saturday afternoon Wendy and I were supposed to go to the eye-doctor, but we rescheduled after an irresistible invitation from Jeff and Jan to go to the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago. Their oldest and youngest (Peter and Anna) came with us, it was a very good time.
One of the first things we did was watch the dolphin show. It was pretty cool. I can’t believe how high those things can jump.

Anna liked the dolphins.

Jeff seemed unsure.

But together with Anna, it was clear they loved the dolphins.

We liked them too!

Though there were times when Wendy was unsure.

After dolphins we saw other cool things, like Lionfish.

And King Crab.

And Stingrays.

And a whole bunch of Sea Anemones, so beautiful!

And then we saw some neat lizards, like the Komodo Dragon.

And my favourite picture from the day – I don’t even know which lizard it is. I have a huge file closeup of this if you’re interested. He’s jaunty.

That’s it for today. More tomorrow probably. 🙂
