Flooring triumph!

So even though the flooring we received is not quite what we wanted, they gave us a killer deal and we decided to keep it.  I have the living and dining rooms floored!  It is nice to have some room in our house looking like a room should, and not just like a construction zone.  Next project:  frame laundry room and family room, do plumbing and electrical, install under-floor radiant heat, drywall, mud, and paint!  Then it is on to the upstairs, simple drywall repair and painting before flooring goes in.  The flooring we got:  90 boxes.  Installed now:  36 boxes.  sigh, just a few hours of work ahead of us.  But it does look nice!

And lest you think Wendy is lying about eating bon-bons, she’s been busy as well, getting more of the outside cement looking good.  She just likes the pressure washer.
