about time

Hi there folks,  I had this blog all written with photos and everything, but somehow everything got deleted and I’m too tired to make it humourous and long again, so here are the highlights:

School started and now I have a raging cold as does every student in the place I swear.

Jan won’t eat from a bottle from the day-care lady, but he is fine living off his fat.  We aren’t worried.

David is busy with the following things:

So, yeah, he has just a few things on the go.  Oh and I forgot that he is also part of the new CRC hymnal committee to reelect the psalter hymnal.  Vote for your favourite hymn that MUST be in there.  He was in Mecca (Grand Rapids) for 2 days doing hymny things.  Remind me never to voluntarily become a single parent.

Here are the photos of what we have been up to.  Hopefully they work this time.  The first are a few from the 24 hours my parents and brother spent here:

And these next 2 are just from messing about: .  I think I took the first one with flash and David took the second without flash, for those of you who care about such things.  The next photos are from construction: .  That is the bathroom just before ripping out the wall.  Notice the toilet is gone – it was where the round hole is.  The next two photos are taken from the bathroom door (that will soon disappear) and then from the back of the shed which will soon become part of the new laundry/mudroom.
.  So yes, we are busily busying away.  Jan spends his days busily growing; no one around here is a slacker, that’s for sure.  And now you know.
