Fall walks are the best walks

Wendy is off from work today (and yesterday, fall break), and I took this afternoon off (working too many hours), and we went to nearby St. Pat’s park.  A perfect day – not too hot to walk, not to cold.  The colours are beautiful too.  Jan seemed to be excited about walking.

Are those not fabulous hiking boots?

Last night Jan (who will be six months tomorrow!) started having one meal not from the boob. He had some rice cereal.  Wendy didn’t have a lot of success, but I had some.  I think it will be more likely that he’ll take cereal from me, as he’s not used to getting the other stuff from me.  We’ll try again tonight.  This is an effort to allow Wendy to stop pumping while she’s at school, wouldn’t that be nice?

I need to practice.  I’m not so good at it yet.
