As you can see, we are quite busy around here. This is what David has been doing (in addition to the usual job):

He is not barfing, he is installing the toilet in the downstairs powder-room!! Yay!  What I did not take a photo of is the laundry tub that is currently installed in that bathroom as the bathroom sink.  We need a laundry tub and we need a bathroom sink.  Trouble is, bathroom sinks need to be nice and we can’t find one around here that fits our definition of “nice.”  So until we do, the laundry tub is in the bathroom.  It works.  This is what I have been doing:

This may not seem like much, but it represents enough meals for Jan to last, as David says, until he is 18.  Okay, so maybe not quite, but it should last for a while.  No way am I going to pay the money for a teeny commercially made single serving of pears (etc) when, for the same money, I can buy almost a pound of pears and get a month of food out of it.  And it didn’t take THAT long to do.  And speaking of which… I hear the youngster and he is trying corn today!!
