   One ecclesiastical point: “Pentecostal” and “The Way International” are not even closely synonymous: The Way International is a cult and, while “christian” in its appearance, it is very aberrant theologically and certainly not interested in charismatic gifts as many of our Pentecostal brothers and sisters are. I am neither, but I do want to be fair to the Pentecostals. We have had personal dealings with the Way and they were not pleasant…or Christian! Dad Baxter

   Is there the possibility that “Sonseed” was written for (by?) little folks? It is pretty silly but if it were written for children, some of its excesses might be more understandable. Some of the choruses I grew up on (“Climb, climb up sunshine mountain”) were also pretty silly. Dad Baxter

   Two things:
   1. I’m well aware that “The Way International” does not represent the Pentecostal tradition. Not stated or implied above!

   2. Sonseed was not written by or for little folks. This was a serious group that tried to make it through appearances at various churches and events. They worked for almost 10 years, gaining funding from several different denominations and organizations because they were singing “Christian music.”
