naps and walking

On Saturday Wendy went to put Jan to bed for a nap and found Smeer in his crib.  She decided to let it be, and put Jan in with Smeer.  They napped together for nearly 2 hours!

Today I spent the day at home with Jan (as I do most Mondays).  He has been walking a lot with his little walk-behind toy (see picture below), but today, when his toy was again stuck at the wall he left it and took two steps all by himself to the toy box!  amazing.  I think he’ll soon be walking, but we’ll see.  Wendy was sad to miss the first steps.  Wendy had him outside on Saturday, walking up and down the driveway and across the yard.  He loved it.
