a splendid start

we’re home, though we shouldn’t be.  our plane, we found out when we were at the airport, is delayed by 3.5 hours.  our bags are checked, we have our boarding passes, and there is no plane.  we were told that it is because there is sever weather in saint petersburg, but when we called our friends who are there, they were sitting on the beach, just back from fishing.  sunny, warm, and calm.

we’ll go back to the airport at 9ish, expect to takeoff at 10:30, hopefully in bed before 1 am.  we’re totally running on empty, exhausted from last week.  i hope jan stays asleep on the plane, and that we might sleep too.
