And so, it has begun

We’re at the hospital.  It is 4:15 AM, we left home about 3:00.  Wendy held out as long as she felt she could, but when the contractions got to about 3 minutes apart, she decided it was time.  And so to the hospital we went.

Now we wait.  Everything is good.  She’s at about 3.5 centimetres, the baby’s heart rate fluctuates between 130 and 140, mostly around 130 now, and her contractions look to be about 2.5 minutes apart.

Here we go! I’m scared to death, and so excited I can’t describe it.
