Out of the frying pan into the birthing suite

We are finally “settled” in the birthing suite. Apparently in all of the blood work Wendy has had done since we’ve been in South Bend her blood type was never determined. So they had to take some blood for that and another thing, and they decided to put a picc line in her. It seemed she actually had no blood. The nurse tried twice and then called the IV specialist who got an IV line in but couldn’t get any blood out. They then tried in two placed on her other arm before getting the two small tubes of blood they needed.

Contractions are bigger and closer together.  And her picc line hurts.  It makes her sad.
