Just a quickie…

A few things have been happening, so here’s a quick update without pictures.  Pictures will come soon.

First – at the moment I am sitting on the deck watching the sprinkler water the area Wendy has cleared of ivy.  The grass is sprouting wonderfully!  It turns out that that area gets about 5 hours of morning sun, which is plenty to get shady grass seed mix to sprout.  It is looking good!

Second – Wendy is in her second (and final) week of Trinity summer camp.  One of her wonderful colleagues is watched Jan last week Tuesday – Thursday, and is doing that again this week.  Thank the Lord for friends.  And summer camp is going smoothly.

Third – I’m gearing up to complete a new installation at church this week, it is coming together amazingly well, and I’m excited about it.

Fourth – Wendy and I are talking about starting a community choir.  We did it in Ottawa, and as I left the Trinity choir, I have only the church choir now.  Might need to do this…

Most importantly – my mother’s surgery seems to have gone very well.  She’s home, convalescing.  She’s amazing, and we will all remain optimistic (with the doctor) that she won’t need chemo or any further treatment for this.  Thanks to my siblings, who are, as always, taking amazing care of her.

peace.
