At a cottage

Hello, all,

Jeff and Jan once again rented a cottage and were kind enough to invite us to stay with them.  The timing was perfect for me – I’m through the business of the new installation/sermon series set up AND the 50th anniversary celebration last Sunday (which went very well), and had a fairly ordinary, slowish week.  Sorta.  And Wendy still has some time this summer which is her own, so here we are.  We came up Sunday and I took yesterday and today off work.  I’m going home tonight to work tomorrow and Friday, and then I’ll come back (Wendy and Jan are staying here).  We’ll be home earlyish Saturday (and looking forward to a visit from Wendy’s parents).

We’ve relaxed a lot.  Jan has been quite busy.  He loves the beach and the playground a lot, and seems tireless (or maybe we’re just easily tired…).  He also has very little fear at the beach or on the slides.  These slides are very slow and easy to control, so good for learning!
