Dull, dull, dull.

We’re waiting at the hospital for 8:36 PM so Jan can have his 48 hour screening test.  We can’t have it early or we have to come back in a day.  Wendy’s feeling pretty good, but she’s really struggling with feeding.  Jan is doing great, but Wendy is in quite a bit of pain.  We’re really hoping this becomes much easier and less painful when her milk comes in (which we hope to be very soon!!).

As of this morning Jan had only lost one ounce.  Then he was circumcised this morning at 6:00 – apparently it is very common for babies to sleep a lot after this procedure.  We couldn’t get him awake enough to feed for almost six and a half hours.  So we think he likely lost some weight today. He’s feeding now, Wendy’s braving it very well.

Our friends Jeff and Jan are bringing us coffee and hot chocolate soon as a distraction.  wOOt.

After our test we are heading home.   I’ll write again tomorrow and I’ll post pictures again tomorrow as well.
