Leaves!!

We have all recovered nicely, thank you, from our nasty-nesses: Jan had a fairly cheerful day today for the first time since his doggie disaster, David and I are not feeling sick. So, of course, we had to rake leaves. There are bajillions of leaves in our yard. Last year I recall having piles to be picked up at the front that were taller than I am. This year promises to be the same. I am still thinking of cutting down some trees, not so much to get rid of leaves, but because we have no grass. (But is it true that oak leaves kill grass? Because that would explain a lot.) But getting rid of leaves wouldn’t be terrible. Although, when you see the photos, you may think, as I did, that lots of leaves are a pretty great thing.

Sweeping leaves is way better than raking.
