In the middle one, I am more or less standing upright; I’m leaning over somewhat, but we really do have that many leaves. And in the last photo, no we have not had a new, surprise!, addition to our family except on Mondays. That’s the day when David looks after the little boy of the folks who watch Jan the other days. Kid-swap, I guess. Jan spends a lot of time with BabySam (all one word). David actually took a whole series of photos of Jan and BabySam because Sam kept sinking lower and lower into the leaves until by the end he looks quite unimpressed. But I didn’t have time to upload them all so you’ll have to imagine. It was pretty tiring doing all these leaves and if we have a good stiff wind before they’re all picked up, I swear I’ll just… swear. I think we should cut some trees down. Never thought I’d hear myself say it, but a bit of grass and a bit less work might not be a bad idea.
