little things to do

Today I’ll be completing the very short list of things to repair for the buyers of our house on 30th street.  I was being all nostalgic last night about the house, thinking it will be sad to leave and all that, and then last night I listened to Harleys thunder up and down the street all night.  Oh, and between loud motorcycles I listened to what I assumed to be people dropping bowling balls and glass bottles into the dumpsters in the alley.

We are going to be able to close on our new house on Friday!  Amazing.  So we will take possession then, I’ll work on it for a week, and we’ll move in exactly two weeks from tomorrow.  That’s the plan.  Nice that we take possession this weekend,  my parents will be here and we’ll be able to show it to them.

I decided I’m going to clean up the yard here on 30th street a bit, get it all nice and pretty for the new owners.  That’s a nice thing to do, right?
